Jimah Eco City is led by an experienced team with backgrounds in construction, engineering, finance and international project development. Under a Managing Director who has completed more than 120 projects, and with our consortium partner Chungkuo Chemical No7 (M) Sdn. Bhd., we are committed to building the 214-acre eco-marina township safely, efficiently and responsibly.
CEO
Mr. Dato' Haji Che Ab.Ghani Bin Che Lah
Dato’ Hj. Che Ab.Ghani Bin Che Lah, aged 58, obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) – Civil from the University Technology of Malaysia in 1990. Upon graduation, he has actively been in various projects in relation to the construction and consultation of related fields whilst servicing under various companies prior to the establishment of his owned company. During his servicing he was successful completed more than 120 middle scale projects either private or governmental sectors.
He has rich experience in civil and building construction as well as infrastructure projects, and good relationships and communication with clients. All these projects under his supervision were completed on schedule, with good quality and safety performance.
In 2019, he was appointed as Managing Director of Jimah Eco City Sdn Bhd and re-structured the company and, had successful growing up from middle-scale to large-scale projects.
Director
Mr. Dato' Ahmad Faizal Bin Abdul Hamid
Dato’ Ahmad Faizal Bin Abdul Hamid, founder of the Jimah Eco City Sdn Bhd and board experience in the design, planning, supervision, and coordination of Electrical HV/LV Systems, Telephone services, MATV services, ICT services, Public Address Systems, Sound Reinforcement Systems, and other building services. His expertise in managing submissions to authorities and liaison with clients, planning, and other important duties. Highly skilled at providing technical support and consulting to clients and stakeholders.
He has completed various projects such as governmentally like the design and building of PUTRAJAYA hospital under the Ministry Of Health Malaysia, the Administrative Center under the Ministry Of Education Malaysia, the design, building, and equipped Hospital at Pandan, Johor under the Ministry Of Health Malaysia, permanent Campus of University Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).

Mr. Thie Beng Guan
Mr. Thie Beng Guan is an experienced entrepreneur, international project developer, and business professional with extensive exposure to construction, infrastructure, international trade, project management, logistics, agriculture, investment, and pest control. He holds professional licences including PCEIA, CEILLI, and PAL and served as a Committee Member of the World Energy Council Malaysia from 2015 to 2019.
Throughout his career, Mr. Thie has founded, co-founded, and managed various companies in Malaysia, Uganda, Sudan, Nigeria, and China. Through the Legend Youth North and Bionas groups, he has been involved in international development, construction, global trading, supply chain management, UN-related green projects, and joint ventures. He has also developed business relationships with major Chinese corporations, including China Railway No. 3, CCCC, CSCEC, CEEC, and SINOHYDRO.
Mr. Thie has significant experience in government and international project negotiations. From 2005 to 2008, he successfully facilitated projects valued at approximately RM813 million. His international activities have since expanded into Africa and Asia, covering government-linked developments, construction projects, agriculture, international freight, fundraising, project financing, and cross-border investment opportunities.

Mr. Dato' Dr. David Yong Siak Choong
Dato’ Dr. David Yong is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in Audit, Corporate Finance, and General Management. He currently holds several prominent positions in many Companies including CEO, CFO, and Founder, In addition, Dr. David Yong serves as an adjunct lecturer and researcher for Charles Sturt University, Australia.
Dr. Yong previously worked for Kencana Petroleum Bhd under Mokhzani Group as CFO from 2007-2012. He has also held CEO and Executive Director positions in various ventures, such as ACD Highland Venture, HQH Exim, Edilsa System, Pinos Pizza & Pasta, Pakatan Perintis, Admiral Pavilion, MB10 Capital and Royal Capital Berhad. Furthermore, he is a Managing Director for companies such as Trans West, Vietma Timber, Heng Lee Transport, Hua Ong Corporation, and US Water Technology.
Dr. Yong is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, with a proven track record of excellence in his field. He was conferred the title of Dato’ in 2012 by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, under the esteemed order of the Crown of Pahang, in recognition of his outstanding service to the state and the royal family of Pahang.
Before attaining these illustrious positions, Dato’ Dr. David Yong was a lecturer at TAR College Main Campus (Now call TARUMT) in Kuala Lumpur, where he taught ACCA Paper: Strategic Financial Management, CIMA Papers: Risk & Control Strategy, Cost Accounting, and ICSA Paper: Corporate Finance Management.
